KOMPETENSI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PELAKSANAAN EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN

Islamic Education is an important part of the education system in Indonesia. The field  study has important responsibilities in constructing the student character. In the learning process of Islamic Education the teachers must have good competence in the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. To improve the learning evaluation system the first thing a teacher must do is improve the process first. Assessment in learning Islamic  education must touch at least the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Educational evaluation is also the domain of educational technology. The domain is certainly inseparable from other domains, namely design, development, use (utilization) and management (management). IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SEKOLAH MUHAMMADIYAH DI INDRAMAYU

This study is aimed to identify (1)the planing of character education in Islamic studies; (2) the implementing of character education in Islamic studies; and (3) the evaluating of character education in Islamic studies. The study was pursued the qualitative research with kind of case study.  The subjects were the principal, teachers, and students. The determination of the subjects was done by using the purposive technique by selecting a number of respondents who are tailored to the purpose of this research. The data were collected through non-participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The technique of data analysis refers to the steps of data analysis proposed by Mills and Heberman with interactive models. The results showed that (1) in the process of planning the school has the development program of school culture to implement student character values which actualized through  learning activities; (2) in the implementation of character education actualized by giving good example, admonition, notification, punishment, and task; and (3) based on assessing result showed that  the character values that have been actualized in the daily behavior of the students of Muhammadiyah School in Juntinyuat are democracy values, religious, cooperation, social care, respect/honor, and responsible. This study is expected to provide contributions for social studies teachers in Indramayu district as an actualization internalization of character values through school culture.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi (1) perencanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran PAI; (2) penerapan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran PAI; dan (3) evaluasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Penentuan subjek dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive dengan memilih sejumlah responden yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi non-partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mengacu pada langkah-langkah analisis data yang diusulkan oleh Mills dan Heberman dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) dalam proses perencanaan sekolah memiliki program pengembangan budaya sekolah untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai karakter siswa yang diaktualisasikan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran; (2) dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter diwujudkan dengan memberikan contoh yang baik, peringatan, pemberitahuan, hukuman, dan tugas; dan (3) berdasarkan hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter yang telah diaktualisasikan dalam perilaku sehari-hari siswa Sekolah Muhammadiyah Se-Kecamatan Juntinyuat adalah nilai-nilai demokrasi, religius, kerjasama, kepedulian sosial, saling menghargai/ menghormati, dan bertanggung jawab. THE INTEGRATION OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION AND MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN INDONESIA

The article aims to analyze an overview of Islamic education and multicultural education in Indonesian country. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INDUCTIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION LEARNING

The article aims to describe the essence of inductive method in Islamic education learning. The learning will run optimally if the teacher utilize the suitable approach and method.Traditional engineering instruction is deductive, beginning with theories and progressing to applications of those theories. Alternative teaching approaches are more inductive. The Islamic education learning should be utilized the inductive method. Topics are introduced by presenting specific observations, case studies or problems, and theories are taught or the students are helped to discover them only after the need to know them has been established. PENGEMBANGAN DAN PEMBAHARUAN PERGURUAN TINGGI KEAGAMAAN ISLAM DI INDONESIA: GAGASAN DAN IMPLEMENTASINYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan dan inovasi pesantren di Indonesia. makalah ini adalah penelitian perpustakaan. Secara historis, perkembangan perguruan tinggi Islam di Indonesia mengacu pada tiga orientasi, yaitu: merespon pendidik dan mengembangkan wacana keislaman. Relevansi ketiga ori tersebut dapat dilihat dari perkembangan perguruan tinggi Islam. Tahun 1990-an, tiga merupakan inovasi untuk menjadikan IAIN (Institut Studi Islam Negeri) sebagai pusat unggulan Studi Islam. Sedangkan pada tahun 2000-an, terjadi transformasi pengembangan IAIN menjadi UIN (Universitas Islam Negeri) selain untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, segala kelemahan IAIN harus diperbaiki agar tetap eksis sebagai lembaga publik yang mengembangkan tanggung jawab utamanya dalam menyelenggarakan perguruan tinggi khususnya di bidang studi Islam. Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Islam dalam Kurikulum Pembelajaran SMK

This article aims to investigate the process of implementation of character education within the learning curriculum. The essence of implementation of character education within formal education involves various parties simultaneously. The research method conducted is a qualitative approach with case study type. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and study of documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education is the responsibility of all subjects that have been programmed through core competencies, the implementation of character education is carried out through exemplary and habituation processes, evaluation of character education is carried out by the test and non-test methods. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi proses implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai ajaran Islam dalam kurikulum pembelajaran. Pada esensinya pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pendidikan formal melibatkan berbagai pihak secara simultan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualittif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Aktualisasi pendidikan karakter berbasis kultur sekolah dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi(1) perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pendidikan karakter berbasis kultur sekolah dalam pembelajaran IPS, dan (2) peran kultur sekolah dalam pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekola, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) pada proses perencanaan sekolah memiliki program pengembangan kultur sekolah untuk mengimplementasikan  nilai-nilai karakter siswa yang diaktualisasikan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran; (2) pada proses pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter diaktualisasikan dengan memberi keteladanan, menegur, memberi tahu, memberi sangsi, dan memberi tugas melalui pendekatan dan metode yang komprehensif; (3) berdasarkan hasil penilaian menunjukan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter yang telah diaktualisasikan dengan baik dalam perilaku sehari-hari siswa di SMP N2 Juntinyuat  adalah demokrasi, religius, kerja sama, peduli sosial, rasa hormat, dan tanggung jawab; dan (4) peran kultur sekolah meliputi tiga aspek pokok yaitu persepsi mengenai suasana sekolah, perilaku murid, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. PARADIGMA PENDIDIKAN DEMOKRASI DAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM MENGHADAPI TANTANGAN GLOBALISASI DI INDONESIA

The study aims to explore the paradigm of Islamic education, democratic education to face the  globalization challenges in Indonesia. This research method was a qualitative approach with type of literature study. Paradigmatically, democratic education is the process to develop all human potentials that values of plurarity and heterogeneity as a consequence of cultural, ethnic, ethnic, and religious diversity. The emphasized main values in democratic education are equality and tolerance. Whereas in Islamic education, the values of transcendence taught in the curriculum must be practiced in daily life in order to achieve the pious charity conference. The challenges of globalization that have penetrated into the world of education have become a driving force for inclusive and sustainable educational innovation.This study is expected to provide contributions for academician, education practical, and teacher in Indonesia as an actualization of Islamic education and democratic education to confront globalization challenges in Indonesia

The Analysis of Data Preparation to Validate Model Values of Information Technology

Currently, there are some methods of preparing data for validating an IT value model correctly. One challenge in applying data mining to validate model values is to convert data into an appropriate form for this activity. Data mining algorithms can then be applied using the prepared data. The adequacy of data preparation often determines whether this data mining is successful or not. This study aims at creating a method for preparing the data during validation. The basic method used for data preparation is the Returns to Scale (RTS) method because it is easy to use and can be combined with further validation results. This method was applied by employing two models: two-factor and three-factor models. Both models are then compared to see the difference between them. The developed model is then tested on Branchless Banking (BB) and Downstream Petroleum (DP) industries. The results show that the method is applicable to prepare the data for validation. In addition, the results also demonstrate that both industries, DP and BB, have different result on data preparation, meaning that DP and BB have different ITs. This research contributes not only to a technique of preparing data for validating an IT value model by the RTS method but also can be a basis to work for data validation because it can give a result with the behaviour of the industry
